I am having trouble responding to the original question. I would agree that the top three are Rob, Freddie and Elton, but from there it's an apple, orange, banana kind of thing. They have all done such epic work over the years, but all differently.
As far as others, I'm not totally up on who's gay or not, so I don't want to leave anyone out, but I do like a lot of INDIGO GIRLS, MELISSA ETHERIDGE, SISSOR SISTERS...
I wouldn't know which artists were gay or straight, any more than they would know if I'm gay or straight.
The only person whose sexuality concerns me is my spouse's.
