The David Crowder Band and Jeremy Camp are my favorites. MercyMe and Third Day are right up there to. My worship band plays alot of Chris Tomlin. He has some amazing stuff.
If you want to check out something "hard", check out "The Slam" By TobyMac or "Shut Me Out" by Kutless. Those have to be loud!!!!
Skillet!!! Amazing band, and they include orchestral intruments in their rock which makes it so epic I love them.
Oh and check out my friends' band; they're Christian Rock, currently on a North American tour, they're quite good as well. Apparently their CD release in Japan is going VERY well :P
Umm wouldn't they kind of defeat the whole Christian idea...with titles like 'death' metal?
"I have become all things that people might be saved". By the way I luv deviled eggs, develed crab, etc I'm not about 2 start calling devilsfood cake"Dark Angel", 2 feel good about it.We come from the underground thrash/death metal scene, which is as closed minded 2wards the church as the church is 2wards it.They will listen 2 deathmetal, not "LifeMetal".Rnt we saved by Y'shua's DEATH&RES
One of my personal faves is As I Lay Dying. Hardcore Christian metal at its finest. I picked up their CD "An Ocean Between Us" a few months back and it has gotten A LOT of play, its awesome (for lack of better words).
You have to careful looking for hard Christian stuff now, due to the fact that a lot of Goth and Death metal bands are going to Christian lyrics just to dis the original Goth and Death group. It's an anti-establishment move, not a true message.
Go figure.
