I like Geoff Moore ( when he first started, his band's name was Geoff Moore & The Distance )

..:: SPEAK TO ME ::..

Mylon LeFevre and Broken Heart ( no longer together, but you can purchase their cd's from Mylon LeFevre's ministry :

Mylon Le Fevre Ministries

Mylon and Broken Heart were hard rock, which is one of my favorite genre's.

I suggest

Crack The Sky
Sheep In Wolves Clothing
Face The Music
Big World
Crank It Up

Petra and Russ Taff in the early years were also very good.

Tree63 is a great hard rock band....Jars of Clay is also an awesome band. Edison Glass is one of my favote bands too. And Joe Foreman, the singer of Switchfoot, made a couple of solo albums that are amazing.

Do you only like Rock? If you're ever in the mood for something different (roots), try Christian Blues on Radio 365. It's a mixture of old AND new blues in varying types. Certain blues songs are the ultimate redemption tunes.

Flatfoot 56 is a great band, that I didn't even know was a Christian band until I read up on them. Its Celtic/rock/punk. Sort of like Dropkick Murphys.

Anberlin is another really good band that I believe may be Christian.

Glad you asked!!! There was a lot of great Christian glam metal in the late eighties/early nineties. Great music, just with clean, faith centered lyrics!!

Here are some of the bands I love:

Whitecross: sounds like Ratt

Stryper: sounds like VH or Styx

Narnia: sounds like Yngwie Malmsteen

Petra: sounds like Journey

Angelica: sounds like Triumph
