Well I was born in '93, so have no connection with the 80s other than what my parents keep banging on about from to time.
They're big fans of David Byrne, and by coincidence I'm watching "Stop Making Sense" (the full DVD from '84), and I have to say Byrne is pretty good showman and singer.

It was 30 years ago this month that he was on the cover of Time. I remember it well because I was in training at an AFB that just got whacked by a hurricane today.
The official video for "Be Chrool to your Scuel" (from 1985's Come Out and Play) also features Bobcat Goldthwaite, Alice Cooper, Luke Perry, and a cameo by the one-and-only Tom Savini...and, of course, zombies! MTV banned it — of course!
