"Go", Asia, from 1985's Astra. Greg Lake is out, John Wetton back in as lead vocalist. Steve Howe was gone, replaced by Mandy Meyer (Krokus). Such a hugely underrated band. Or maybe underappreciated is the better adjective.
Here is the OV for the original version of "Here I Go Again" from 1982. (The 1987 redo was ruined by FM overplay.)
Needless to say, the original is superior. Why? Oh, JON LORD. COZY POWELL. You can actually hear the bassline. Fewer holes in the ozone from cans of Aqua Net being drained on an hourly basis offstage during the drum solo. And so on!
