Joanie rocks! I have Bad Reputation on my Ipod. And since the song was used in the first Shrek film, my kids love it. I just tell them that they shouldn't sing the first line outside of the car ...

I love the song "have a beer with fear!" SF punk rocks! Green Day are such wannabes.

Favorite BF song ... "who has the 10 1/2?" Love Henry when he had the long hair man!

"Punk rock girl, give me a chance" ... "we'll dress like Minnie Pearl/just you and me punk rock girl" "Do you have hot tea? No, we only have it iced", "we jumped on the tables and shouted anarchy!"

And suicidal tendencies! Alright, I have to stop or else I'm going back to my rat tail and red hair days. I'm a suburban stay at home mother of 3 for crying out loud!

Ha ha ha ...a RAT TAIL !!
I had one of them....
I had a Mohawk for about 2weeks but I learned a valuable lesson...
Dont do stuff to attract attention then get mad when you....attract attention !!
Also, since I didnt read the direction on the box, the dye would
come off on my pillow every night ..... Ha ha ha ha

A rat tail was a more subtle 'statement'

Yeah....the 80's were ALIVE !

You could kick back and space to Kraftwerk or Talking Heads
or rock out to Black Flag or ST...." I only wanted a PEPSI !!! just
A PEPSI, PLEASE , MOM !!" ...ha ha ha ha

Very diverse....you dont get that now. My son is 21 and he
carrys on the tradition....SeX pistols, clash etc...its funny
the stuff I listened to all day long is the stuff I still hear all day
long when hes at home.

It took all of the 90's to recuperate from the 80's for me...

I will check that out, if I can find it!

Pretty and Pink....that's funny because all this talk about the 80's got me and my hubby in a conversation yesterday......I told him I wanted to get Netflix so I can rent my 80's movies anytime I want! LOL! We started talking about Molly Ringwald and Mary Stuart Masterson and the whole bunch from back then. I found out my hubby has NEVER seen The Breakfast Club the whole way through...*gasp*! I said, "that's the first movie we'll get then!"

Hey, throw some rep points my way too *sniffle*.....lol.
I'll hit you up too!!!!!!!

I watched Decline, it really is terrific! Another one is Urgh, a Music War. I also love The Nomi Song. It's about Klaus Nomi, a new wave singer who died in 1983 as one of the first celebrities to die from AIDS. It wasn't even called AIDS when he passed.

Another 'must see' is 'Great Rock 'n Roll Swindle' by the SeX PiStoLs...

adds to the hilarity of it all....It is soooooo funny and bizarrely wacked
