I always loved Conway and Loretta's duet in that song, it was in GTA San Andreas lol.

I'm not sure where "Blue Bayou" is but I always imagined it being somewhere in southern Mississippi.

I have even found myself liking the late John Stewart's works. He's more of a folk singer with a synthesizer but he did country too. He was also in the Kingston Trio.

And it was his song that made me like "Smokey and the Bandit 3"

I recently found out that Jerry Reed, Waylon Jennings, Mel Tillis and Bobby Bare made a supergroup in the late 90s called "Old Dogs", but only had one album.

Also part of the history of country music is someone we call "Country Music's Storyteller". That someone is Tom T Hall. I'll give you just two of his hit songs right here, but he also wrote many songs for other artists, too, including "Harper Valley PTA" and "Little Bitty".
