One of the most prolific jazz guys ever, this is thought
by many to be his best album. I hadn't had it for a while.
I'd bought it and lost it a couple times. But just got it as a

Coltrane on saxophone is at his most soulful, most musical,
while maintaining of course his impeccable technique, maybe
the jazz saxist with the best chops. Wynton Kelly on piano is
a quiet player with a soft touch; many of his ideas insinuated.
Bill Evans is restrained as always ... Then there's daylight, bright
and blazing when Miles' indomitable trumpet breaks through, "Kind
of Blue" is probably one of the ten greatest jazz albums ever recorded.
