Today in Starbucks i heard a cool jazz tune called Summer Sun. the band's name was a single word, does anyone remember the name?

Another question i have was what is the name of the group who covered the Romantics' "What I Like About You". I think it was from 2003 the name had an "ix" at the end

Happy to oblige.

The first band was Koop, which I think is a jazz group. The song 'Summer Sun' featured vocalist Yukimi Nagano. No idea if she was just making a guest appearance or not.

And the name of the cover band was Lillix.

EDIT: Koop is a 2-person jazz/pop/electronica group from Uppsala, Sweden. From the liner notes of their 3 albums, they have guest vocalists on all or most of their songs.

The song 'Summer Sun' is from their 2nd album, 'Waltz for Koop', released in 2001.

All info from Wikipedia.

Koop uses samples for every instrument, then they piece together songs. Takes years to make a cd.
