I love the way, in the following, an attempt to sabotage the Cameron Diaz character radically backfires. Her singing doesn't get good, but the character wins over the audience with her determination and vulnerability. Or something, point is it was kind of the moment I started rooting for her to get the guy instead of Roberts. (Yes that's very girly for a guy, but so what)
