Well, these last few days I have been listening to a lot of heavy metal music from the United Kingdom. It might be due to the rainy weather we have been having. Or it could be that UK heavy metal bands just might be fantastic and appealing to my tastes? Anyway, I was wanting to know whether the United Kingdom has a larger following of heavy metal fans compared to Spain? Also, in your opinion which country has the more talented heavy metal musicians and/or better heavy metal bands overall? I am asking because I love the music scene in both countries

I guess Heavy Metal is traditionally a northern thing. There are a lot of HM bands in Germany and Scandinavia as well. But Spain?! I am sure there are bands as well as fans, but it will never be as widespread there as in the north.

AliveandWell, I'm frankly not aware of a lot of Spanish heavy metal bands. For my end, I agree with Neuling and I'm more aware of Northern bands though I am being exposed to others in the Metal Kingdom thread, such as metal roots.

If you could maybe post your favorite Spanish, British heavy metal bands just for educational purposes, I would appreciate it.

This might be interesting, at least if you speak Spanish But most band names are links anyway, so you can look them up on Youtube.
