Is it just me or are their fees getting ridiculous? Ok so it's 20 dollars for the show and then there's like so many fees, the fees total up to almost more than the actual cost of the show.

I'm afraid it'll only get worse with the LiveNation merger. I try to avoid Ticketmaster based events, but if I do go to one, I buy right from the venue and that usually cuts some of the nonsense out.

MilwaukeeOne makes a good point. If you can buy a ticket at the venue itself, do it. The extra added fees are getting out of hand, especially credit card fees. Fortunately in my area we don't have Ticketmaster as the ticket retailers here have regular music related businesses, but if I have to travel to say Denver or Salt Lake, then I do.

I read that ticket prices may actually drop if the merger happens. Hmmm....I'm from Missouri: Show me!
