Thought about making this a poll but the categories would be too limiting.

I guess I would categorize my listening by activity and part of the week.

Typical weekday
15 minute commute x two ways = 30 minutes x 5
about two albums while at work on closed headphones = 90 minutes x 5
about two mornings/week 30 minutes on my hifi = 30 minutes x 2
about three nights/week 45 minutes on my hifi or good headphones = 45 minutes x 3
Weekday total = 13 hours and 15 minutes or 2 hours and 39 minutes per day

Typical weekend
45 minutes of driving each day = 45 minutes x 2
about three hours of at home listening on hifi or good headphones = 180 minutes
Weekend total = 4 hours and 30 minutes or 2 hours and 15 minutes per day

Total for the week
17 hours and 45 minutes or 2 hours and 32 minutes per day

I listen to CDs nearly exclusively (no radio, sat, MP3, vinyl, music channel, etc.).

I'd say I can listen to 24 albums in a week. Some on my at home listening is where I'm doing nothing else but listening to music.

I'd say about 20 to 25 a week, but that's a little misleading. I preview about 15 a week for a college radio station, so, since I'm trying to weed out FCC objectionable material, I listen to most of those two or three times so that I don't miss anything. So yeah, about 20 different albums in a week, but about 55 albums a week all said and done.

Probably takes up about one-third to half the time I'm awake. Can't do some living without it.
