There's no better male ballad singer alive in my opinion. But you're less likely to hear him on the radio.

I saw Sinatra perform. Sarah Vaughan, Mel Torme and Ella Fitzgerald too...Heck - I saw George Jones and Merle Haggard this year. There are a lot of great singers who might be called "the new Sinatra". Elling's not one of them. He's too busy being Kurt Elling.
