Default Best comeback albums

This thread is a place to list high-quality albums that musical acts release after a long period of inactivity or that break a streak of lackluster albums.

Here's 2 that I thought of:
  • "Black Gives Way to Blue" by Alice in Chains
  • "Aerial" by Kate Bush
Here's some songs from those albums:

YouTube - Alice In Chains - Check My Brain (Music Video)

YouTube - Kate Bush - "King Of The Mountain"

Not technically a comeback according to him (or me), but after the 80's genre-hopping, Freedom was a stake in the ground.

YouTube - Rocking The Free World by Neil Young

AWESOME albums/artists mentioned here!

In 1990, one of my favorite bands (and one of America's best musical ensembles) reunited and released Seven Turns, a colossal comeback for the legendary Allman Brothers Band. Here they are right after that classic album's release on the show of another American Icon (Johnny Carson, legendary host, drummer and Allman Brothers Band fan RIP), with a hot jam on two cuts from that masterpiece. I remember seeing this in a bar after USAF tech school completion, August 1990.

LONG LIVE THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND!:

John Anderson - Seminole Wind (1991)

This album provided John with his first #1 Country song since his 1983 hit "Swingin'," and his first top 10 song since his 1984 hit "She Sure Got Away With My Heart."
