Les Paul

Lester William Polfuss (June 9, 1915 – August 12, 2009) — known as Les Paul — was an American jazz and country guitarist, songwriter and inventor. He was a pioneer in the development of the solid-body electric guitar which "made the sound of rock and roll possible". He is credited with many recording innovations, including overdubbing (also known as sound on sound), delay effects such as tape delay, phasing effects, and multitrack recording.

Another one from Sammy. The lyrics are on-point with the thread, as is the fact that this is from when Sammy was a boy, working with his pop and his uncle, Will Mastin. This guy was a bundle of talent, a bundle of energy right from the get go. I think too, one of the most underrated singers of his time, maybe because he could do so many other things, dance, impersonations, his vocal chops were overlooked.

What a heart this woman had! Bruised, broken, bitter, but somehow
it endured. Not the purest voice, but what passion. Loved her..
