Who has a favorite? I like traditional (Clancy Brothers, Chieftains) as well as newer stuff, like the Pogues, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys.

YouTube - Black 47 "Funky CĂ©ilĂ*"

This band is technically an amalgam of UK citizens, but they are heavy on the 'irish'

Good one!
I saw those guys live, and they performed that song. Mike Scott comes off as fairly Celtic. I love that one song "Island Man" and of course Fisherman's Blues.

Whatever happened to Black47? Always loved Funky Ceili.
