I was the only teenager I knew listening to Glenn Miller & Sinatra "in the closet". But by 16, I became brave enough to keep the volume up when people came near.

I don't get embarrassed by even my most dorky musical selections but a few songs that perhaps I SHOULD be embarrassed by that I love are:

Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go - Wham!
How Will I Know - Whitney Houston
My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
Man! I Feel Like A Woman - Shania Twain (yeah, I blast it and sing along to it just like that car commercial, so what? )

The Locomotion by Kylie Minogue

Mickey by Toni Basil

Telecommunication by A Flock of Seagulls

Relax by Frankie Goes to Hollywood

What can I say? I like some types of really gay music!

1) Footloose
2) Kokomo
3) We Didn't Start the Fire

These songs will cheer me up at any time.

LMAO... I just saw a commercial for one of those cheesy mix CDs, and it had "Barbie Girl" (Aqua) on it - totally one of my "embarrassed to love" songs!! Others that make me turn down the radio are "Sexyback" by Justin Timberlake, "Maneater" by Nelly Furtado, anything by Neil Diamond, and my cheesy showtunes/soundtracks.
