Sadly any area near the beach and attractions will have some crime. If you check out the stats for Myrtle Beach crime vs most other resort areas it's through the roof. Rape/sexual assault is the biggest problem in this area. I've heard good things about the complex but you can't know until you give it a stroll for yourself. Hispanics living there doesn't mean it's going to be higher crime than rednecks or any other groups because, again, there's a pretty high crime rate up and down this area. Even the elected official are rather lawless! LOL! Talk to people who live there and visit it in the evenings and you should get a better feel. personally I prefer the Carolina Forest area but I'm biased since that's where I've been staying since tourist burnout set in for me.

You now remind me of the poster on the Sun News comment sections by the user name of prefab... Wow.
I don't even read the Sun News because it is way too liberal for my taste....
Of course I would respond ....Realtors that are uneducated and break the law make all the others look bad....that is why Realtors have such a bad reputation....

I'll say that, yes, we can also agree on this... but, I take no offense whatsoever, as you likely intended.

See now? We're not so different after all...

This is a false representation of the Quail Marsh Complex!!!! I have owned a condo there for over 14 years with absolutely no problems! Every area has its problems but over all I have never seen any problems with our Mexican residents. I do have one question.....How would the writer (randredge) of the inflammatory post know immigration status of all our Mexican neighbors? Our complex is not the newest in the Myrtle Beach area but it is gated and patrolled by a private security firm. The HOA and owners are working to improve the complex. There are people that would always see the bad side of everything like the views of randredge....I think bigotry and prejudice needs to be issues for randredge to think about before he opens his mouth again.....
