I'm headed to Myrtle Beach for a trade show next month and need help with directions.

What is the best way to get from 95 north to MB? I'm coming from Florida... thank you!

Once you enter SC you can get onto Route 17 north and follow it up through Charleston and Georgetown into MB. It may take a bit longer, but it's a beautiful, scenic drive. We did this a number of years ago when returning from FL to PA with a stopover in MB.

You could also go up near Florence, SC and take Route 501. 501 gets very congested the closer you get to the beach. Where exactly in MB are you going? One way to avoid the congestion is as you get close to Conway, watch for Route 22. Take this to the north. You'll avoid a lot of traffic and you can connect up with several routes that will take you back down into MB from there.

Dawne ~ we took that route before and it was scenic, maybe a wee bit too scenic for night time driving.

The convention center is on North Oak Street.

Without a doubt.. 95 to 327 (there is a huge Pilot/Wendy's combi store there) then 327 to SR 21-24 (a left turn) . 21-24 to Hwy 76 which runs into 501. 501 runs directly into the beach.

Run 501 to Grissom Parkway, Grissom Pkwy to 21st Ave North, take a right on 21st Ave N and the Convention Center/Sheraton is 1/2 mile down 21st.
