Calabash and Little River areas (real estate, living, cost of living)

What are the main differences regarding the above areas (other than the states they are located in). I see that they are close to each other,. I am interested in shopping, hospitals, property tax, cost of living differences etc. My husband and I will be looking at the general area for retirement. Also, names of real estate agents would be nice. Thanks!!
