Hi,
My family is looking to find a contemporary non denominational, family oriented church in myrtle beach, surfside, or murrells inlet areas? Any that you or a friend you know would recommend?
Any help would be great! Thanks so much!

Are you familar with the Willow Creek Church in Barrington, Illinois? It is a very large non-denominational church. They have a church finder web-site. Although I cannot personally recommend a church in the Myrtle Beach area, you will find many possibilities on this web-site. Good luck!

I don't know about Surfside but I really like Carolina Forest Community Church. You should give it a try.

I am familiar with Willow Creek Church -- my church in Trenton, MI follows a lot of their suggestions and philosphys (sp). I cannot find the "church finder" on their website -- do you have an actual link? I will be relocating to the Aiken, SC area and, like momtojosiah, I will be looking for a nondenominational contemporary church. The only thing that I've found in the Aiken area is 53 Baptist churches.

That's so funny, I had never heard of Willow Creek before but the pastor at Carolina Forest Community this morning used the founder of that church as an example this morning. He said he has been a big influence on his life and talked out how Willow Creek was started.

Thank you! I found one in Aiken -- Cedar Creek Church. I'll have to check it out once I've relocated down there, sometime in October.

Myrtle Beach Community Church also referred to as the Beach Church is fantastic. I attended this weekend and loved it. Great music, people, activities and community endeavors. Take 501 north toward Conway and it is behing the new Hard Rock park follow the signs. God bless!
