I don't think I've ever had a slice of pizza that I did not think was good. I'm happy with the freshly prepared take & bake pizza's I pick up at Walmart or Costco. But, there are plenty of pizza shops in the Murrells Inlet/Garden City/Surf Side area so I would start with the most convienient and work my way through them........
You are going to have to go to Surfside for good pizza. It took me two years to find them, but I won't go anywhere else now. If you like good New York style pizza go to Scatoris. I lived up north and even the pizza there wasn't this good.
half the fun of moving is working your way through all the pizza joints til you find the one that you like..everyone's tastes are different (although a good shop is still a good shop of course)
my kids swear by sweet pizza and i hate it..i love the huge greasy pie, which my wife hates..she likes the stuff with very minimal cheese(whats wrong with her?)
The best pizza by far is in the shopping center on the corner of Wachasaw Road and 17 South right down from The Pig. I cannot remember the name. Same shopping center that has Chick-Fil-A.
As Neecewh said, Scatori's is wonderful pizza. I also like Donato's, which is a chain and very different from Scatori's, but very good. BTW, both Scatori's and Donato's deliver.

Donato's is wonderful. When we finally relocate to MB, that will be one of my wife and I's first stops. We used to have a franchise here in Muskegon MI, but like soooo many others, they left us behind. When we visited MB in June, I was delighted to see Murrell's Inlet now has one.
And if my buddy Neecewh says Scatori's is good, then I take her at her word and we'll get there too. I still totally love UCP too.
Awesome! I can't wait to try them. I'll be in Murrells Inlet for 15 days starting next week. I'll be heading for some seafood too I would love to hear suggestions on that if you have them.

Thanks again for all of your replies so far....
Seafood? Work your way through the Marsh Walk establishments....... Don't skip Dave's Dock Side or Divine Fish House.
