I'm retired and looking to get out of the snow belt. The Myrtle Beach area sounds pretty good from what I can find on the net. My interests are in +55 communities of which I can find two in that area, Myrtle Trace Grande and Seasons at Prince Creek West.
I would appreciate any information on these two communities, such as HOI, working with the builders, flooding during heavy rains.
I will be heading to Florida in March and hope to look at a few sites on my way south.

You might also want to check into Del Webb in Summerville (about 30 minutes outside of Charleston SC), it's a brand new 55+ community currently under construction and looks to be very nice.

Leo,

Myrtle Trace is a very nice area. It hasn't been stripped of its trees like most communities. The houses are larger for the price and it is a nice neighborhood. The only real drawback is that it is off of HWY 501. Moderator cut: realtor soliciting
