Anyone have suggestions for a family friendly community in MB or NMB or elsewhere?

We're considering a summer place and would want to be in a community that would be a good fit for us (young family with two young kids). Community pool, playground activities, etc. Two that I've come across are The Farm at Carolina Forest and Barefoot Village. Any comments on those, or other suggestions? We'd probably look in the $200-$250K range for a 3BR detached home.

Also, does anyone know the policy of these communities to rent/sub-lease a property? We'd likely only be there during the summer, so if we could rent it out (hopefully to friends/family moreso than strangers) during the times we're not there, it would help cover costs. Is that allowed? I'm guessing gated communities might not want renters tearing the place apart.

Lastly, anyone have a link to a good website to do real estate property searches? I haven't been thrilled about the ones I've come across so far.

Thanks in advance!

They don't really allow us to post real estate company info on the boards as it is often viewed as advertising. I have sent you a private message with two search engines that I prefer.

Disclaimer: I am not a real eastate broker/salesperson and I have no affiliation with these companies except that used the south strand company when I purchased my property. I felt they did a good job for us.
