House isn't finished and lease about to run out....looking to lease one of the 2BR/2.5 bath "Villa" units at Pawleys Plantation to tide us over until we can move. Estimated duration 3 months, but still TBD.
Does anyone know an owner willing to rent for this length of time ?

I would check with the property management companies in the Pawleys Island area to see if they might work with you on a shorter term rental.
Good Luck!

AS an FYI to anyone else looking for a more-than-2-week rental, I've learned that even 2-3 months is not considered to be "long term".
Also, monthly-rate rentals are pretty hard to come by until mid-September; owners can make lots more money "by the week" so many/most don't offer monthly rates until very late in the year. September is proving to be a killer for us because of the potential for good weather....
True Blue seems to have the most units that are available for rent, and they are managed through different agencies with differing rules, so it can be beneficial to call around.
If anyone out there has a vrbo that they would consider renting for 2 months, I'd be happy to correspond via direct message with you. That area has been difficult for me to navigate because of full voicemail boxes and the propensity for my attempts at e-mail to be returned. And it seems that not everyone remembers to update their calendars....

Happy 4th, everyone,
Busy
