Thanks for the list. We are still about 8 years away (hopefully) of moving to the Myrtle Beach area.

Just out of curiosity, are there any running or walking clubs in the area?

What about any running events like 5k's?

Thanks.

Yes, I can only speak from a tourist and maybe future resident like yourself in the long termI notice several through the year. One occurs the Sunday after our anniversary. One year we had to push our luggage car right in middle of the run then we had to go get breakfast til race ended due the street block off so answer is yes.

The Myrtle Beach area has a very active running community. The Myrtle Beach Marathon is one of the best running events in the country.

Tons of 5ks, 10ks, etc. The one race everyone runs is the Cooper River Bridge Run 10K every year in Charleston.

Thanks.

There's a 99.8% chance we'll pass on the Marathon. The 10k is a possibility and we will definitely do some 5k's.

I am totally shocked this thread is not on fire. So much to see and do in the Myrtle Beach area.
We never seemed to get everything we wanted to do in when we were spending 5-6 days on vacation in Myrtle Beach.
