What is the salary one should make in order to live a comfortable life style in Myrtle Beach Or on the outside areas? I have horses and looking for country acres.. Where would I begin to look near myrtle beach that is a low crime area? I have family who lives in VA Beach and gave me the salary amount one must make there to live comfortably and I was looking for answers from locals in SC who may be able to help me with your area too. Also what are the winters like there? Thank you for your help in advance.

I don't know what you consider comfortable, but C-D reports that the median household income for Aynor is $40,921 for 2011. The per capita income is $18,384. Both figures are close to the average for the state, and they suggest 2 workers per household. Your next task would be to identify possible jobs. Since Aynor has only 600 people, your search should be broader.
