Since my daily walk takes me past the new Prince Creek Publix, I stopped in for a walk through this morning. The store was packed. A lot of free tastings. Staff going out of their way to be super friendly. However I was not impressed with the store layout (it is not as big inside as I expected). I like the layout of my Naples FL Publix better and even prefer the layout of the Lowes Foods across the street. Prices seemed comparable to Lowes (meaning much of what we buy is cheaper at Walmart). Selection not all that great IMHO. Not going to cause us to change our grocery shopping habits.......

Default Publix #1568, Prince Creek Village Center, 11920 Highway 707, Suite A, Murrells Inlet, South Carolina 29576-9713

A 45,600-square-foot supermarket may not be large. It is a common size of new Publix stores that are opening.

I wonder how Lowe's Foods #233, The Shoppes at Tournament Boulevard, 11903 Highway 707, Murrells Inlet, South Carolina 29576-9736, will respond to Publx #1568. Publix #1568 is steps ahead with a pharmacy department and online ordering.

I just heard that news the other day. Oh well, I thought for sure it was going to be a fast food place.

Would this be a dental health practice chain?

See some potential home buys in the area. Trying to find out who and where Murrells Inlet derives its drinking water. Trying to avoid the nightmare scenario in Wilmington NC where its been determine that chemicals have been dumped into the Cape Fear River since the 1980- GenX. Do like the proximity to the beaches and shopping near Murrells Inlet.

People up in Mt. Pleasant are experiencing issues with chemicals in the water. Definitely worth looking into. Georgetown County is the water service, but not sure where the water comes from.
