We would love to board our dogs close to us while at the beach this summer and would appreciate recommendations. We'd especially like to find a place that will allow us to "check out" our dogs from time to time so we can have them with us and return to sleep at the kennel since they can't stay in our rental unit. Does such an arrangement exist ?

There are a couple of kennels in Pawleys Island, too.
