Can anyone recommend a place to eat that is ON the beach? I’m not talking “waterfront”, I mean when you sit at your table, your toes are in the sand. We accidentally found a places like this in Oceancity MD and Rehoboth DE and really enjoyed them. The atmosphere was very enjoyable, laid back but still good food and drinks. The place in Oceancity was on the inter coastal instead of the ocean, but it was great.

It’s been about 10 years since I’ve been to Myrtle and I cannot recall any places like this. Thanks in advance!

The entire beach is a "public sidewalk" in the state of south carolina. You can not block the sidewalk.

Snookys on the water, CherryGrove we just left lunch there and we were literally on the beach. Excellent food and atmosphere (of course). Dang, why do I feel like I let the cat outta the bag.

It's in Little River on the Intracoastal....6 miles inland from the beach.

They have two locations now. They took over the boat rental place next to Murphy's on the Ocean.

One of my buddies owned a condo unit in Cherry Grove, for about 15-16 years, beginning in 1980. It was not too far from where Snooky's is now located. It's too bad that it wasn't there when I used to go to Cherry Grove, as it looks like a place that my wife and I would have enjoyed, as we went to Cherry Grove a number of times.

No..there are no "restaurants" where they have tables and service ON the beach. You can SEE the beach from MANY....but this is not the Caribbean, and this is not how they do things there.
