Help- We need our cat brought from M.B. to San Antonio!
Please help- the day we moved from the Georgetown area last week (Wed.) our cat ran away. We waited and looked for her for a day and than our closing date was looming ahead of us in Texas and had to go without her. I couldn't believe that we were having to do such a thing. We are extremely responsible loving pet owners. Our neighbors found her a couple of days ago- we are hoping to be re-united with our cat (Cooper). We saved her from a rain puddle when she was only 4 weeks old- I fed her with an eye dropper. We are hoping that someone might know a family or a cross country trucker who is planning a trip to San Antonio and will please bring her to us. Can anyone help us? We can pay someone up to $200 to do so.
We have already looked into all shipping companies and the airlines and most pet relocators- they all run close to $600 and we simply can't afford that.

I would call the local news stations in both areas. That is a feel good story that they might run and if they do maybe the community would take up money. Maybe a relay of travelers could help.

Thanks Kelly & BBlaine:
I am just so sad to have been in the position of leaving my cat- it is overwhelming. I will try your suggestion of trying to get a story done on her and see if something can be done that way.
Thank you for your responses.

Thanks to all who wrote in!
We got the cat back, a little over two weeks ago. We had to fly her here. Sadly, we didn't have time on our side we were getting a lot of pressure from so many to get this thing done and get it done fast. So we had to spend a ton of money to get it done with pronto. But, she is here and happy to be re-united with her dog and her family and she absolutely loves her new house and home state. THANK YOU.
