South Strand Doctor Help,Please.
Hi I am looking for a family Dr in the South Strand...Murrells, LiTCHFIELD, pAWLEYS..Do family Dr's here see the whole family? Back in my old area I had an internist for us, a pediatrician for the little one, an separate Obgyn...I like the idea of a family practice for all of us,is that how it works here? Thanks in advance!

My wife and I have both used Dr. Silbiger in PI for 5-6 years and are extremely pleased with him. He has his own practice. He will provide routine gyn exams if you prefer, but I'm guessing he would refer to an OB for pregnancies, but I might be wrong. Don't know about kids. I think most internists recommend a pediatrician.

Dr. Silbiger is a good Dr. Inlet Medical Associates is a good place too.

Dr. Gerald Congdon has left the Waccamaw Family Medical in Pawleys and started his own practice. I haven't had the need to see him yet but my wife really likes him. He seems willing to work with our insurance (GHI), too, which is a big plus.

Dr Rhoades at The Doc House in Murrells Inlet is great also, he is a family Dr and very personable. |
