Which is most suburban? Which has most shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and nightlife? Stores in particular like Sam's Club, Super Wal-mart, TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshall's. Which is most affordable?
Ross, Kohl's, Lowe's, Wal-Mart, Grocery stores, Blockbuster and other stores are very close to Socastee. I think it takes me a total of 7 minutes to drive to Wal-Mart from my home.
Sam's club is a little further. I hit Hwy 31 to 501 and I'm there in about 13 minutes.
I love Socastee. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
Red Hill has none of those things, but it is right next to Conway and about ten minutes (disregarding traffic, which can be huge) from Myrtle Beach.
All of the prices in that area are very high, but I would say Red Hill is probably lowest. Conway is a great compromise. You get an unusual lot of shopping opportunities because it's so close to Myrtle Beach and you also get the peaceful small-town-on-the-river environment.
Socastee is very nice, but likely to be expensive since it pretty much is a part of Myrtle Beach.
