North Myrtle Beach Opens Arms to Bikers
From Sunday's newspaper:
[QUOTE ]"Tourism promoters on the north end sent an e-mail last week to 90,000 potential visitors mentioning the biker controversy and Myrtle Beach's strategy to tame them. We want YOU to know, everyone is welcome in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! North Myrtle Beach properties have rooms available and are awaiting you to book your accommodations for the upcoming rally."

Here's an idea. Have both rallies at the same time. Imagine all of the responsible behavior happening all at once.
Should have thought of this before.

Looks like most of the bikers will be going to Bern Beach up in NC.........
After over 60 years of coming to Myrtle Beach. I am sure there still will be many here.
I have mixed emotions about it........but yes, for the economy it would be good if they were here.

I think the New Bern thing is a very small part of the rallies....it is by no means "most of the bikers"

New Bern is a long way from the beach. It is, however, on a very wide and very dirty river.
Have you forgotten that the Horry County government is backing up the MB city government on their decisions regarding bike week? NMB is still in Horry County.
