Default Reccomendations for Home Inspector
I need a recommendation for a home inspector in the Garden City Beach area. Anybody have some good or bad experiences with a particular outfit? I may go with the realtors recommendation but I am always suspect of a home inspector recommended by a realtor. There is a conflict of interest.

How is there a conflict of interest?
I just used Leon Hamm
843-421-4198 and thought he was good but that was in Carolina Forest. I don't know if he goes to Garden City.

Thanks for the reply Rapture. What I meant by conflict of interest is that the best inspectors might delay the home sale so it may not be in the best interest of the realtor to get the best inspector rather one that is good enough.

I understand. I don't know anyone that would do something like that but I guess they are out there. Good luck with your purchase.

The best and most thorough inpectors tend to be ASHI certified. I used Shayne Boyd and had very good results.
