That is not a bad area or neighborhood. If you will click on the right side of the website you posted, View Map of Courtyard, you will see you are on Hwy 17 and can drive down 48th Ave or 46th, any of those streets will take you straight to the ocean.

Like you we love the sun, sand and surf and prefer just loading up our beach junk and walking out on the beach. The room is free, go for it and at least you will be able to check out the area for future visits.

Have a good trip.

Thank you for your reassuring words. Do you recommend a particular beach?

Okay, so it appears that it's suppose to rain, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the three days we have our reservations for. I have until tomorrow night @ midnight to cancel and we really don't know what to do. Friday is my wifes birthday and we really wanted to have a fun, family getaway at the beach, but not if it's gonna rain all weekend.

10 Day Weather Forecast for Myrtle Beach, SC - weather.com

Please folks be honest with me; it says 60%, 40% and 40% chance of thunderstorms for the three days we're suppose to be there. Should we cancel or should we go any way? Please help. Thanks
