I don't understand your post, at all.
I made reservations, using almost all of my Marriott points for three free nights, Thursday, Friday and Saturday to go to the beach with my wife and daughter for my wife's b'day. If it's going to rain all three days we're there, why would we want to go, and lose 65,000 points, plus money spent on food and incidentals? I have until midnight to cancel and get my points back, hence my dilemma.

Sonrise, MB's forecast is quite a bit like ours here in Greenville; you see lots of scattered t-storms predicted but they rarely come true and usually last only a short time. Do yourself a favor though dump weather.com and find a local station's weather report. I compare weather.com to WYFF-4 all the time and weather.com just isn't as accurate as WYFF.
When you get down there tomorrow watch the local weather report on the local news for Friday, etc. for Saturday as well. If they say showers in the afternoon get yourself to the beach in the morning and early afternoon before they hit.
I understand your panic; I go through it every trip we've taken to the beach.

Since I moved here I noticed they say thunderstorms or even rain a lot that doesn't happen. No one on here can predict the weather or promise anything. Yes, it would really stink if it rains all weekend but maybe plan for that so you're time here won't be ruined. If it does rain and you just concentrate on the negative then it will no doubt be ruined. There are a lot of other things you can do here besides the beach. Go to: Fun Things To Do In Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Attractions and SC Activities - Myrtle Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau for ideas. Good luck and have fun no matter what. Plan on fun and you will have it!

The weather forecast is the same everyday - sunny to partly cloudy with a chance of showers. Since I have lived here I don't think it has every rained a full day - we may have a pop up thunder storm in the afternoon, but it is over within and hour.
I actually sometimes miss a rainy day!

not sure why you thought we weren't helping. We told you point blank that the weather is unpredictable down here, and when it rains, it pours, but it's brief. We can't possibly be any more clearer than that. If you're worried about spending 20 minutes a day for 3 days in a hotel, not sure what to tell you. I'd be thrilled to "waste" that much time a day.

Hope you went on down... I heard yesterday was pretty decent. My friends sent me a text saying it is raining right now but they are headed to the aquarium until it clears up. This is their ONLY vacation of the year and they said they are having a terrific time......

I have until midnight to cancel, for full refund. No spin, please tell me the truth. Thanks

We have been here on vacation all week - It has been hot and sunny since Sat. but yesterday was funny - rain one minute - sunny the next - but today was kinda yucky - cloudy - no rain - then - cloudy - rain - but it looks like Saturday will be nice - even though they say 40% chance of rain - it seems like I am in the tropics here - rain does not last too long - and most of the hotel have great heated indoor pools, hot tubs, etc.
