So I'm doing research about MB (cuz we might be headin' there) and read some stuff about the Myrtle Beach Thunderbolts. The info was limited and about all I could get was that they would play at Coastal Carolina "eventually" and be apart of the ECHL. So has this idea been put on hold, scrapped or what?
After all of your research and all of the posts warning people to stay away due to the economy here, and you still want to come?!
Honestly, I haven't heard one word about the Thunderbolts. I don't see this happening any time soon. I did a search as well and only came up with a page from 2006-07. Since CCU is a public college and we (the State of SC) are seriously in trouble, I can't imagine them wasting money on this at this time. But hey, never know, right? I'd love to see hockey right around the corner!!! There's a professional team in NC, however! My son would want to have season tickets the second they opened.
I know, I know but I'd have a job lined up if I can sell this house and I live in MI where unemployment is nearing those employed. Do you get ECHL games on tv? Stingrays!
