Where to look in MB
In the next year or so I will be looking to move to possibly MB. I am younger and would be looking at $250k mark or so. I currently live in Charlotte and really cannot stand it, I have lived in Charleston so i know how SC is with taxes, jobs, and the culture. I am looking into other cities but with my mom looking to move to MB also I would like to be closer to family again. Thanks for any help.

What did you not like about Charleston that you are looking for in Myrtle? I know they are completely different, but knowing your likes & dislikes will help us gauge where to look. Quiet, family neighborhoods vs more active communities.

It was not so much of what I didn't like as it was school, my at the time gf of 4.5 years not wanting to move there, and hanging with the wrong crowd. I was 19-22 when I lived there and just needed a change. Also since my mom will be moving from Mt. Pleasant to MB possibly I would like to move closer to her as I am a momma's boy(I admit it). Plus even though I have always lived near the beach but never gone much not living there makes me miss it.

What are the better areas to look for a home in MB, I have visited the area a ton but have never looked at where the nicer areas to live are. Just wondering where in MB the nicer areas that around 250k could get you into a nice home in quiet neighborhood.

I am not too familiar with the north end of the Grand Strand, but I would also recommend Murrells Inlet (Links Brook, Wachesaw etc)

If you are into golf than think about one of the many golf communities in particular in the Murrells Inlet area
