I think I'd find another way, and quite possibly, another place, to spend my money.

Myrtle Beach isn't exactly biker friendly any longer. At least one reputable bike shop and a very well known biker bar (The Dog House South) have closed in the year. Both closures were a DIRECT result of the City Council's actions in eliminating the bike rallies that have been held in the area for 65+ years.

These two businesses are certainly not the only two that have closed but they are target specific for what you mentioned....

As the old saying goes, Enter at your own risk....

Listen to the man, he's speakin' the truth. Two or three years ago, I would have said "go for it." Unfortunately, the City of MB has chosen to bite the hand that feeds it, then raise taxes to recover the lost revenue. City Council is now serving the affluent retirees who have moved here, hanging the small, tourist-related businesses out to dry. If you're set on moving here, a pinochle parlor is probably a better choice than a biker bar. If you're determined to proceed, make certain the biker bar is not located within MB city limits, with better (but not good) chances for success in North MB or the South Strand around Murrells Inlet.

The Beaver Bar in Murrells Inlet actually moved about 200 feet south to be within Georgetown County in protest of Horry County's new laws.

Baylovers-
Oddly enough, G-town Co. is passing similar 'anti biker' ordinances as well... However, Leslye has one solid business in The Beaver Bar. I've known she, and the girls, for a long time...
