I cant answers your question, but I can not answer it. Def stay away from food lion if you are looking for cheap shopping, I have found they are usualy a dollar plus more expensive on items then super walmart. Where Im from there arent food lions so it was a new, eye opening, experience for me.

Back home (in Jersey) I would have never considered shopping for food at Walmart. Several trips ago (because I like to make the trip through the night) I made the drive to the closest Walmart to Murrells Inlet at around 3 am. You see, the spouse must have fat free milk for her morning coffee......

Anyway, I was happy with the selection and prices in the food section so Walmart, at least down here, is where I shop.

I'm surprised no on mentioned Sam's Club (same co. as Walmart, but very different than food shopping at Walmart) or Costco. Both are in Myrtle Beach.
