Hi --

I'm considering buying a unit in Village Walk of Bonita. Am trying to handle this from out-of-town, which isn't as bizarre as it seems in my case because I lived in Naples for 20 years and am familiar with the area and have the assistance of a good friend who still lives there.

Village Walk and all the DiVosta subdivisions are age-targeted but not age-restricted. My question is, does anyone know the actual age demographics? Are there ANY middle-age or young folks in this S/D? Husband and I have been senior citizens for years but I'm wondering if our mid-40's age children would be conspicuous if they visited.

Thanks.

I live in VeronaWalk, their sister community, so I can't say whether the two neighborhoods are the same, but mostly the whole area of SW FL is the same! Anyway, VeronaWalk is mostly snowbirds, but not all; mostly younger, active old people-if you know what I mean by that, but there are also young couples living here and families with children (we've got four families on our street with children). So, in our community, anyway, which is probably pretty similar to VillageWalk in Bonita, your middle aged kids would feel just fine visiting. Ours, and their two little ones, just left after an 11 day visit and were just fine. In fact, they're always here as often as they can get away, so there's something about it they like! (Heaven help us, ha ha!!! We're still trying to rest up and get the place back in order!)

Default Yes, there are some younger folks

Thanks, Judi. We were always East Naples folks (first Lakewood, then Kings Lake).

After I posted, I saw listings of several units where the pictures showed children's toys and furnishings. Don't know why I always thought that only old folks lived there.
