I've been searching on the internet for a two bedroom condo in the naples area and came across lely resort. There's quite a few to look at but it seems to be many sections with in this development. Eaglewood, Fairway Gardens, Augusta Woods, Vista Palms, Green Links. Anyone have some knowledge on these. My use would be strictly snowbirding and vacationing. I want swimming pools, golfing and short drive to area beaches. Is this area a good place to start looking? Thanks

There are no bad areas of Lely Resort.

It's about 30 minutes or so to the beach, not including parking time.

I agree. Lely Resort is a great place and if you use the beaches at the end of the Avenues, which are nicer than the public ones as far as I'm concerned, they are no more than 20 minutes. My favorites are 4th or 8th Avenue South, but they're all nice along that general area.
