Is there a way of searching for incidents within the City of Naples? I know nbc-2.com do a Naples Police Activity Report, but I can only find one for the last 24 hours. Is there a way of finding older activity reports?

This 'column' is in the Naples Daily News, on line, every day...
Collier County arrests: 01-05-2012 : Naples Photo Galleries : Naples Daily News: Local Naples, Florida News Delivered Throughout the Day.

Glance over to the right side of this section and there are previous groups of arrested listed for previous days/weeks.

And, this link allows for following a case(s), over time:
CollierClerk.com - Court Records

Go down to bottom of that site, Accept, and burrow in, using name of arrested.
GL, mD

Thanks for that. I found the following website City of Naples Crime Map (http://napgis.naplesgov.com/crimemapper/ - broken link) which shows incidents in different areas, but wondered whether there was a way of seeing any further information other than a roughly pinned tag, particularly if there was no arrest involved?

If you look at this map, it looks like theres a lot of crime in Naples Park? I thought that was a quiet area near the beach? We are coming down there in March wit the intention of buying and narrowed our search to the Eden on the Bay area. We are trying to stay near Mercato and the beach and this is what our agent suggested. Our budget is no more than 600K with a pool.

When you look at the crimereport website, make sure that you go to the advance search as the data it is giving you is only for the past month; the maximum it will go back is 6 months. It’s a great website, Naples Park has some good parts and some not so good parts, and it’s not gated which makes it easier for crime to be committed, most of which are minor but still… the area that you are choosing to move to is nice; it’s gated and not much crime. You should be able to get a really nice property for that price.
I personally feel very safe in Naples, I realize that things do happen but as a whole Naples is a safe area.
