Default Moving to Naples in 30 days, HELP!

Hello all. I really need some help on this one. I currently live in Stuart FL. Been here for the past year, have lived in Atlanta, GA my entire life before this. I'm in my late 20's. I just accepted another promotion with my company in Naples and will be moving in 30 days!!! I will probably only be in Naples 1-2 years and am looking to rent an apt/condo, kicker is I need it furnished. I'm looking to spend anywhere from 0 to around $1,000 a month for rent. I've read lots of posts on the good and bad areas of Naples but I need some exact areas and maybe some help if anyone has contacts or some who can assist me. Any and all help will be appreciate. Safety is my number one concern this late in the game, and after that would be somewhere where I can try to enjoy single life as a younger individual in an older people city. Thanks in advance for the help.

What area of town will you be working in? You need to factor commute issues.

Commute issues won't come in to factor. Will be working from home and on the road to all over Naples. One place I am considering is Vanderbilt Beach Bayview Condos. Know about this place? Been searching Craigslist constantly. I've heard North Naples is ideal so been looking there up through Bonita a bit.

I don't know anything specific to that condo other than it is older with bay views (at least from some of the units) and is very close to the Vanderbilt Beach access. I don't believe safety would be a concern there (this is very near where I live). Publix and Wal-Mart are both very close, along with other shopping and restaurants. Check out annualrentals.com because they have quite a few furnished condos available under $1k. Good luck!

Although I am currently in NJ (or I'd be happy to look at the condo for you!) I am familiar with Bayview condos. I park on the street near the building (on Vanderbilt) at night and I'm a petite famale and have never had a problem. I think its very safe there. As far a night life goes there are a ton of young people gathering at Mercato every night--and Mercato is off of Vanderbilt. Convenient. Naples is an expensive place to live. Good luck!!
