Naples, the legal 'city', yes...

Collier County, in which a good sized inhabited portion is called 'Naples', with a dozen+ zip codes, has gone from ~251,000 to ~332,500 population, 2000 to 2012.

This leads me to wonder if anyone on here has ever actually lived in a place like that...
I lived in a remote town in NH.. My husband grew up in a town of 300 on a farm Northern Maine about 15 mins south of Canada. He was lucky cause he was one of a few people on his whole street who has indoor plumbing and running water. His friend who lives up there still has only an outhouse and runs his tv off a car battery. .. Did I mention that was from mid 1980s to 1997. He never had cable or internet till he moved here ... Close enough?
