Why Isle of Capri? Seems to be the same price range of Marco without being on the Island itself? My drives around there for the past 5-7 years dont reveal it to be especially family friendly (not many parks, no facilities, no community center, no real beaches, etc).

There are several lots under $100k on Key Marco....and many that closed sub-80k in they past year.

I was just thinking about areas similar to Marco-seculded, similar housing etc. I agree it is no more family friendly than Marco. Capri is loaded with snowbirds-just like Marco.

Have you ever stayed on Marco in the winter?

I have....for about 2 weeks at a stretch. Seems to get busy, but I'll be a working stiff so those are the times I'll be working from my home office. While our house is being built, the plan is stay aboard our sailboat to save on rent in Goodland.

Good luck with the build..

I am a newer resident as we moved here a year ago. We are semi snowbirds but just turned 50 so youngish!

There seems to be a lot of family friendly activities at the YMCA and at Mackle Park. Cant beat the beauty of Marco and in my case the stream of northern visitors!
