Can someone define the boundaries of Logan Woods?

The reason I'm entertaining new communities is because they seem to have the most innovative floorplans and features. The builders of custom homes seem to have very basic floorplans with cookie cutter design elements...I like the innovations like two story construction (in Florida), upstairs laundries, planning centers/nooks, etc.

North of Green Blvd up to Vanderbilt Beach rd on both sides of Logan Blvd. Being north of Pine Ridge is desired by many for various reasons.

4+ months out of the year, you're going to be running your AC a LOT here in Southwest Florida. Having a two story house makes little sense in such circumstances in my opinion. But to each their own.

Trivia-do you know why they changed from numbers to names (same as off Oakes)?

OP-

Despite your generous budget it will be tough meeting your requirements and being close to Tamiami and the beaches.

I used this builder-twice-in Golden Gate Estates.

I always assumed it was to separate themselves from the rest of the GGE riff raff when it became "Logan Woods" and not just the western edge of GGE..........

They tried doing something similar in my area on the other side of the canal a while back, but it didn't get much traction, for some reason that escapes e now. I really didn't care either way, but some folks were really against it.

It certainly would make it easier for delivery and service people who can't seem to figure out that 7th Ave SW is a DIFFERENT address than 7th Ave NW. I get about half my mail anymore.

Exactly.

Reminds me of the Lely Barefoot Beach folks when they wanted a Naples address instead of Bonita Springs and when Berkshire Village tried to reject the 455 phone prefix since that meant Golden Gate.
