It looks like it's starting a bit earlier this year. I do license plate counts. Over the weekend, I was seeing 1 in 10 from out of state.

We're thinking folks from up north had to come down earlier to deal with hurricane damage issues.

Not sure if that's the case, but sure have noticed a lot more cars on the roads, people in grocery stores etc.

Winter also might be coming early for some northern states pushing down even more snowbirds early, Chicago will barely getting out of the 40's all of next week and it looks like the overnight lows will be flirting with freezing!

Bumper car season is starting...retirees doing the “stop and snack” in Costco yesterday...and Trader Joe’s was jammed. Nothing like watching the 80+ year old getting gas in front of me too, which was a surreal exercise in slow motion. Welcome back

I agree, many are people probably checking out their properties.

Hopefully it will be a strong season, Collier needs the income to pay for the cleanup that’s not covered by FEMA.
